Bryan Corbett is not only a distinguished performer of the jazz mainstream repertoire, but also an artist who pushes the boundaries, writing and performing original works with his hand-picked lineups.  Bryan has featured as a soloist and in horn sections on numerous recordings; he has also been the soloist with the ‘BBC Concert Orchestra’ and Big Band Małopolski in Krakow, Poland.  A past winner of the ‘Jerwood Rising Star’ accolade at Cheltenham International Festival, and the Quartet previously won the poll winner prize at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall. This BJF2020 concert-set with Ben Markland, Al Gurr and Neil Bullock creates a thrilling and super-cool atmosphere, with crisp expositions of three classic jazz numbers, made especially for the Festival. Recorded remotely in UK.
