Doors Open at 7:30PM Starts at 8:00PM book here.
LINE UP: Jack Pearce: (Alto Sax), Jascha Bingham: (Piano), Sam Hughes:(Guitar), Dan Sanderson: (Bass), Angus Haygarth: (Drums)
This top young band, rising young jazz professionals based in the North of England, and graduates of the Leeds Conservatoire & College of Music jazz course, and now on their second UK tour, are turning heads and so we wanted to hear them in Wales! Led by saxophonist Jack Pearce, the lineup is joined by Wales’ popular tenor sax player, Deborah Glenister for this special date at BJC.
They have a love of the classic jazz repertoire, with their own arrangements, but are also writing some of their own music too.
What they say: “Jack is rapidly building a reputation as a dynamic, exciting sax player. Drawing heavily on the influence of hard and post-bop players, while also infused with a strong sense of the rock music he grew up on'” /
Deborah Glenister “excellent and engaging.. a leading light of the South Wales jazz scene” (jazzmann.com).
Praise for the Band: pure delight / infectious energy / soulful playing.
See you there!
