SIGLO SECTION BIG BAND (Online 7-30th August)

LINEUP: MATT LUSH (Director), Laurence Collier (Gen Manager),  plus headline musicians and students from the RWCMD

This is Cardiff’s latest University Big Band, playing everything from swing through to contemporary!  The name Siglo is derived from Swing in Welsh. Multi Instrumentalist and arranger Matt Lush, leads the band with a fresh take on some of the best popular and swing music written, not to mention new and original compositions from within the band.
They  put their own unique stamp and fresh arrangements of the great swing classics from Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman and many more….
Matt is currently employed by Caerphilly Music Service and is building a reputable career as an enthusiastic and engaging freelance performer, conductor and educator.
Putting a successful big band performance online has been no mean achievement for the musicians – quite spectacular enjoy!
