Brecon has had an active Jazz Club since the late 1970’s hosted at various venues in the town. These have included the Castle & Wellington Hotels, Theatr Brycheiniog and in more recent times the Muse Arts centre. A creative and popular programme is presented throughout the year – usually on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Brecon Jazz Club has since 2016 partnered with Brecon Jazz (CIO) to organise and promote an annual Jazz Festival in August.
