DEBORAH GLENISTER QUARTET Friday 2nd Feb 8pm @ The Muse

Lineup: Deborah Glenister (sax, flute), Rod Paton (piano), Ian Cooper (double bass), Phill ‘Redfox’ O’Sullivan (drums)

Deborah Glenister Quartet brings together a really swinging Welsh lineup. Led by Deborah playing tenor sax & flute, the band includes Rod Paton on keys, Ian Cooper on double bass, Phill ‘Redfox’ O’Sullivan on drums. Composer, musician, teacher Deborah has been delighting audiences in our Festival concerts for the last few years and helping run some of the public weekend jazz sessions – and this is now her own dedicated music showcase. Expect lots of lyrical jazz classics with some Latin, Blues and a few special numbers written by members of the band too. A great way to jump into 2024!
